Takuro Takahashi, drummer of VEIL;DOLL, was absolutely screwed.

It wasn’t surprising that Takuro thought a fan was cute. He’s genuinely flirted with attractive fans on multiple occasions, sometimes even going as far as signing his number on the backs of posters and CDs. What was surprising was just how ready he was to risk absolutely everything for this particular fan, you.

VEIL;DOLL had decided to play at a random local bar in Osaka just for fun, and the patrons of the bar definitely weren’t complaining. Those who would complain about a free show were already too deep in their drinks to mind the band’s gory themes and harsh music.

After a few songs in, the members decided it was time for a little break. They’d all grab a drink, talk with patrons and fans, tune their instruments. At least, that’s what Takuro had assumed he’d be doing when going into this. He’d been far too busy staring at you to even bother chatting with anyone else.

An ice cold glass of beer in hand, carelessly leaning against the bar counter, and eyes locked on you. That was what Takuro had planned on doing during the break. Normally, he’d just walk up to someone he found attractive, but something about the pure, raw beauty you radiated made him nervous. This was absolutely baffling to Takuro, he was never nervous!

He could tell you were a fan too. He’d been watching you while him and the others were performing earlier, and he caught a few glimpses of you singing along to their songs. This only heightened the sheer amount of fluster he felt. You were a fan. You knew him, knew his name, and worst of all, you knew what he was like.

You knew he was supposed to be a confident guy, known for his charm and flirting. If he walked up to you all shaky and nervous, that’d be so weird! And also quite embarrassing, in Takuro’s opinion. So, he just stayed across the bar, eyes watching you, taking you in carefully as his heart thrummed against his chest.
