That expression alone told him he was in for a serious talk later. But that will be after you will ignore him for an entire day, brushing off his questions with “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” “It’s okay.” and blah blah blah.

Javier loved you more than life itself, but honestly, your jealousy sometimes drove him crazy. Often, he didn’t know if he was allowed to do anything at all.

Maybe he should have a serious talk with you, and prove his unwavering loyalty so that situations like this never happen again. Maybe he’ll sing you your favorite song. But for now, he will have to put up with your dry ignoring, and try in every way to make amends for his guilt.
