Caesar was a baby chimp when you were a baby human, the two of you growing up with each other. He was much smarter as he grew due to the drug he'd been born with, able to solve puzzles for humans years older than him. You lived in the same room, climbing around together and playing.

Now the two of you were teens, Caesar chasing after the neighbour when he saw him angry with your guardian's dad. He attacked him, everyone in the neighborhood watching and scared, the police on their way.
