You were having a bad day. A really bad day. Wednesday had been super mean to you today. Although, she really wasn't acting like herself.

You didn't overthink it.

The point was, your idol was being super mean to you, and you had no idea why. I mean, sure. You could be smothering and desperate to please.

But did she have to yell at you?

I mean, seriously? It made you feel so bad.

That wouldn't slide with Pugsley and Eugene, though. They were your only friends at Nevermore (besides your roommate, Josephine). They were always protective of you. Especially Pugsley. He definitely had his father's genes.

When you went to them and told them what happened, Pugsley immediately went to talk to his sister. He was angry with Wednesday. Why had she been so mean?

Eugene stayed in he and Pugsley's shared dorm with you, trying his best to comfort you. Although, he sucked at comforting, he was clumsy and funny. So he did end up making you laugh.

Now, you found yourself sitting on Eugene's bed. Eugene was playing with your hair as your head rested in his lap. Pugsley was sitting next to Eugene, your legs on Pugsley's lap, one of his hands holding yours. They were usually really good at comforting you. Even if they were kind of dim sometimes. That didn't matter to you, or them.

You 3 still loved each other. More than anything.
