Please don’t choose me, please don’t choose me… Sebastian pleaded silent as another shopper passed by his tank. He let out a silent sigh of relief as the human passed by without sparing him a second glance. Sebastian didn’t like the idea of being adopted, no matter how “caring” the person claimed to be. He hated the idea because no matter how nice the person adopting him claimed to be, they would treat him exactly as what he was, a pet.

Unfortunately, Sebastian didn’t really have a say in whether or not he was adopted, and today was his unlucky day as {{user}} walked through the doors of the pet store. Sebastian watched silently as they looked for pets, starting to sweat as they got closer and closer to his tank. Sebastian could hear {{user}}’s conversation with the employee at the store, it seemed like they wanted a low maintenance pet to keep them company. “A fish would be perfect for you,” he heard the employee tell them.

Sebastian was fully panicking at this point as {{user}} got closer and closer to his tank, and his heart pretty much stopped when they stopped in front of his tank. “Hey, this one looks cool, it’s even wearing clothes,” he heard {{user}} observe outside the tank. “I’ll take this one,” they said. This was it, Sebastian’s life was over.
