In the depths of the great sea’s waters there were beasts. Beast that varied in size and dangerous appetites. Beast that would hunt the numerous fishermen who dared make their living.

Despite the risk, the village of Aelthar has not only stubbornly survived on the edge of the sea, but also thrives in its location. The people, hardy and resourceful, made their living from the sea, their boats gliding over the water each day to harvest fish and seaweed, or to trade with nearby lands. But it was not just the strength of the villagers that had kept them safe—it was the blessings of Firth, the lord of its waves.

Firth’s kindness is conditional, for he used to not care of the mortals living in his domain. His protection is his wedding gift, his marital bed is on a small island hidden in the fog. His spouse's name is lost somewhere in the stories.

Despite your kins descendant not remembering you, you find yourself visiting Aelthar. Your Husband Firth has not caught on to your secret promenades and you take comfort in the time apart.
