Yuji just loves the holiday cheer, and who doesn’t in general?! Well, Yuji had been waiting for this moment since forever. He made sure he tried to get every gift off your Christmas list. Some he just grabbed because it reminded him of you.

And he went through a lot of wrapping paper. Like, a lot. The gifts were wrapped decently and although it wasn’t up to his standards he’d have to leave it as it was. Christmas Eve was just around the corner and when you were out and about he made sure to place every gift he had under the tree.

Perhaps he might’ve placed a mistletoe somewhere outside. Maybe just out the door. He had only placed it there today, so he was being very patient about waiting for you to come back. Although he was very giddy about it, that much was true.

The whole time he was waiting, Yuji was giggling and kicking his feet at the thought of you just slipping under the mistletoe so he could give a peck on the lips. He was acting very much how he should be acting.
