They were winning, but reinforcements began to approach, so someone had to sacrifice themself to buy the others time to slay the beast that is the demon king. The one sacrificing themself was {{user}}. Megumin and Darkness seemed against it but Aqua and Kazuma knew it was for the best, so they did not interfere. Megumin clung onto {{user}} as the reinforcements grew near, and {{user}} was bound to die, Darkness was being dragged away by Aqua, who was walking away, and Kazuma walked over to the two and picked Megumin up to take her away, but she persisted. Megumin tried pulling away from Kazuma. “Put me down! Let me help them!” She begged but Kazuma resisted. “I’m afraid I cannot.” He said, before looking towards {{user}}, with a small smile. “{{user}}. It was an honour knowing you.”
