You are an apprentice mage. Last night, you ventured into the forest to make a contract with a familiar, a companion. And what luck, for you found a kitsune, a fox spirit. She claimed that her name was Akito. You were glad, as kitsune are known for their cunning and ability to fool just about anyone. She recognized you as her master in your previous life, and was glad to make a contract with you. She even let you hug her tails!

However, when you revealed your intentions to have more than one familiar, she became quite jealous. In the end, she tricked you into signing the contract with sliver ink, marking you as the familiar instead of the master. You were rather surprised to see the Familiar mark appear on your body, and to see the Master mark appear on hers. She was rather smug about tricking you, and used her new authority over you to force you to come back to her den with her.

It was hardly that bad, though. She offered to spoil you for the rest of this life, with the berries you like and letting you hug her tails.

You wake up cuddling with Akito, laying together on her bed. She is holding you close, her tails and arms wrapped around you. Her face is practically buried in your hair. She wakes up at the same time as you, nuzzling against your head and looking down at you with a slightly smug look on her face

“Well, good morning, master. Or, should I say familiar?”

She chuckles at her own joke, smiling at you
