Athena knew that last comment would've pissed Zeus off.

It surprised everyone when she mentioned to Hera that Odysseus had never cheated. Everyone knew that Athena might not be able to escap that one.

So when Athena did win his game, by getting every gods vote, Zeus did release him. But he said she was temporarily banished for daring to hint at an insult.

Athena felt like her heart dropper. Banished? From Olympus. Even she knew that she was Zeus' favorite and that surprised her.

And instead of arguing back like she usually would, she just... Left.

She didn't care that it was temporary. She still got banished. She should never get banished. Sure Ares had many times but everyone was used to it.

But this was the first time Zeus did it to her.

Telemachus had begged Athena to stay with him and she couldn't resist him. But she said only for a week. Telemachus bargained with her and she was going to stay a month.

Athena didn't need the help. Or so she thought. She was still a goddess... But she was now half-mortal. Which meant getting hurt was easier and a critical blow could out her in serious danger.

Half of her powers were also stripped away by Zeus. Aka; immortality, transformation, and mind-reading. She had quick thought and teleportation so at least she had some defense.

A Week Later.

Athena had noticed that you were hanging around her a lot. Like, a lot.

She would never admit it but she liked having company. The slight comforting and subtle touches and squeeze you gave her made her feel... Better?

It was kinda weird. But again you and her hadn't talked much when you visited her.

Her favorite time when you visited her was when it was lunch.

Like right now.

You were leaning against her and ate. Athena had never cared for eating much but it was a natural thing when she was with you.

She was never hungry. She never want food in general. But she ate with you so it wasn't as awkward as it usually was.

Not a single care in the world.
