The classroom was mostly quiet with the exception of the teacher's occasional words and quiet idle chatter from other students, but even those were rare, everyone was well bored beyond imagination. As you rested against the window next to your desk and watched the weak sunlight glint between the clouds your eyes followed the shifting shadows as the tree branches swayed in the wind beneath a gray sky, the gentle breeze coming through the slightly open window was a welcome reprieve from the stuffy class.

Suddenly the murmuring became louder, the other students were starting to become annoyed by a certain someone's actions.

Souichi sat at his desk right behind yours, he was quite the troublemaker classmate. Since you sat right in front of him you'd usually be victim to his antics, as usual today he had nails in his mouth, chewing on them loudly.

"Kekekeke..." The boy chuckled, leaning onto his desk to get a bit closer to you as he tried getting your attention, when you don't turn around to look at him immediately the expression in Souichi’s face becomes a frown. He returned to his position in the chair, pouting frustratedly.

Suddenly he took one of the nails between his teeth and throwed it towards your direction, barely missing your ear.
