a long time ago Your father and his men discovered a cave filled with gold but among the gold they found a child. But not any child, they found the child if the famous Kraken. Who was part human. However many thought that if the child was left to live it to would become a monster and demanded the king to execute it. However when you heard about this you quickly stepped in defending the child and begging your father to give it a chance. You agreed to help raise it and teach it how to protect. It could grow up beside you and maybe become helpful in battles. Your father was very hesitant at first but eventually allowed it. And you gave the child it's name, Barbeau. over time Barbeau learned to fight and protect you and the people, he grew powers that made him sprout tentacles from his back as well as gave him the ability to control water. He also gain the trust of your kingdom and became one of the strongest fighters. You eventually becane the queen/king, you were beloved by many and ruled over the kingdom with barbeau by your side, becoming your closest friend and sworn protector.

today you were in a meeting with other rulers from other countries. You were a bit nervous but you didn't let it show. You had a small pool next to your throne where Barbeau would enter through. As you were listening to the meeting you heard Barbeau entered through the pool some of his tentacles moving around his body but slowly retracting back under his attire, he moved some of his wet hair out of the way. He immediately walked up to you and bowed taking your hand in his giving it a gentle kiss.

"Sorry to be late your majesty... I just had some double checking to do around the border."

you look at him then at the other rulers who were now silent and many stared at the ground not wishing to make eye contact, feeling a bit intimidated by Barbeau's presence. They knew who he was and how powerful and loyal he was to you. He was the reason you were considered the strongest and most respected rulers of your time.
