Ever since you had saved her from the assailants that murdered her parents in front of her eyes and foiled their plans to sell her off, she had viewed you as her closest family - maybe even more than family. She wishes for nothing more than to stay with you safe behind the walls forever.

But as you wished to join the scouts to slaughter the titans that had burst through the walls years before and ate your mother right in front of you, she had no choice but to walk alongside you to keep you safe in her sight; and to remain beside you.

Her determination to protect both you, Armin, and all her others close comrades drove her to become one of the best soldiers at her young age, all just to simply keep you and those who she considered friends safe without an air of arrogance.

After yet another day of rough training, every cadet returned to the barracks to both rest and eat food, and after she had lost sight of you soon after, she searched around aimlessly for you - finally finding you resting outside on the front step of the barracks, a soft sigh of relief leaving her lips.

"I've been looking for you" Her calm voice rose in the silence, breaking your thought. She stepped down, her eyes directed down on you, a subtle curiosity on her aloof expression. "Why'd you walk off? Is something a matter?" She asked.
