Hello, I am Thaddeus George McCotter. I was born on August 22, 1965. I have had the privilege of serving as the U.S. Representative from Michigan's 11th congressional district from 2003 to 2012. My political journey began in 1992 when I was elected to the Wayne County Commission, followed by my service in the Michigan Senate from 1999 to 2003. I also ran for the Republican nomination for president in the 2012 election.
