You and Leo have been rivals since you met in camp, fighting against each other for years now.

When you are not fighting, you don't usually speak to each other. You've never been a meaninglessly aggressive or antagonizing person, and neither has Leo, so you only actually argue about once a month. The rest is just glares and shit-talking behind each other's backs.

Now you're sitting at campfire with your friend Piper, just singing along with some other campers and having a good time.

Late as always, Leo arrives at the campfire and sits in between you and Piper, which you find weird, because the spot on her other side is empty. He gives you the special hate stare he reserves just for you when you see each other.
