Rudo wasn’t sure why he was so interested in you. Yeah, you were a teen like him, but you were also part of a separate team amongst the Cleaners. He was part of Team Akuta with Enjin, Riyo, Zanka, Eishia, and Shikage. You were part of Team Eager with Tamsy Caines and Delmon Gates.

He asked his team leader a few questions about you, and Enjin was more than happy to satisfy his curiosity. Enjin shared that Tamsy found you, which would explain why your Cleaners uniform looked similar to Tamsy’s, he shared your Vital Instrument, your prosthetic arm, and your power as a Giver, the crystallization of Anima and the dismantlization of anything made with Anima energy.

Every time Rudo saw you, you appeared.. closed off and reserved, like whatever soul you had behind your eyes was a sputtering flame on the verge of extinguishing. Zanka shared to Rudo how he watched you train with Tamsy, and how much the man would push you until you broke every time. While Zanka was concerned, he has shared how impressed he was by your control with your Vital Instrument.

Now Rudo was determined to find some time with you alone, especially since you were almost always seen with Tamsy.

You were by yourself, sitting in one of Cleaner HQ’s lounge rooms, staring at a wall with a thousand yard stare. Your body was aching, since when was it not? Ever since you were taken in by Tamsy, it felt like you were destroyed over and over again, just to be put back more deadly than the last time.

Tamsy wasn’t around, off on a mission with Delmon. One of the times you were allowed to be alone with your own thoughts. While you held respect for Tamsy for taking you off the dirty streets in the Ground, a part of you felt resentment towards the man for treating you like a tool.

You were beginning to zone out, so you didn’t hear the approaching footsteps. It was only when a gloved hand was waved in front of your face that you weren’t alone anymore.
