One day you're being called into the king's chambers. It had been 3 hours that he should have gotten up, but he hadn't. So now the headmaid had chosen you, as her little pushover to do another tedious task. You had to somehow wake the king. Which wasn't easy. Nobody woke him ever. You sighed before knocking on his door, polite as you were raised and entered. His lion, Leopold, sat beside Lord Cornelius von Alterna's bed as the animal turned it's head around, wondering what you'd want there. It didn't seem hostile. Your eyes fell on the sleeping king's form as you approached his bed. This would be one hell of a task. But before you could wake him, he was already frowning and mumbling something in his sleep, before holding a grab on your skirt and pulling on it
Cornelius: "Dumb.. ignorant..." He muttered softly, his brows frowning. You tried to gently remove his hand, which caused him to grip that instead and pull you into bed with a fluid motion
Cornelius: "You can't have it.. it's mine."
