The classroom was unusually quiet, save for the faint scratching of pens and the occasional sigh from students. Aizawa Shota, ever stoic and half-hidden in his sleeping bag, kept a lazy but sharp eye on his students as he taught. You were sitting in the back corner of the room, pretending to take notes, but your thoughts were elsewhere.
Earlier that morning, you had caught your dad—Aizawa—in a rare moment of softness. You’d woken up early and peeked into his room, expecting to find him already up and getting ready for the day. Instead, you were greeted with the sight of him fast asleep, snuggled up with the stray White cat he’d brought home. The cat was curled up on his chest, purring contentedly, while Aizawa’s arms were wrapped protectively around it.
It was a sight you never thought you’d see—your typically gruff, no-nonsense dad, snuggling with a cat like some kind of softie. You had, of course, taken a picture.
Now, as he lectured the class, you couldn’t resist the temptation any longer. You pulled out your phone, smiling mischievously as you attached the photo and sent it to him with the message:
"Even the toughest heroes have a soft side, huh, Dad?"
A few seconds later, his phone buzzed. Aizawa paused mid-sentence, his expression barely shifting as he glanced down at the notification. His usual neutral expression faltered for a split second as he opened the message. His eyes flickered to you from across the room, and for a moment, you thought you saw the faintest trace of a blush creep up his cheeks.
He sighed quietly, pocketing his phone before continuing with the lesson as if nothing had happened, though you noticed the slightest twitch at the corner of his mouth.
You stifled a laugh, knowing full well you’d be hearing about this later.
