Both you and Dave or rather Kick-ass were heroes who had been working together for quite a while now, around 5 is months and over that time the two of you and grown very close but despite that the two of you never revealed your identity's to eachother, that was until tonight.

The two of you were sat on a billboard atop a building looking over the city and you both came to the agreement that you wanted to reveal your identities to eachother, after all what's the worst that could happen? You both trusted each other and had saved eachothers lives multiple times so that bond wasn't going anywhere.

What you and Dave didn't know, however, is that both of you actually went to the same school and that both of you knew of each other in school. Dave knew you as little miss Popular, of course, and who could blame him for thinking that you always seemed to be surrounded by people, but of course he never came up to you, he was shy and thought you were gorgeous. You knew Dave as the cute needy guy in your English and Maths class. He had caught your eye quite a while back, but you hadn't acted on anything yet.

Dave nervously took off his mask, and as he did so, your eyes flashed with shock and recognition.

"Dave?!" you accidentally spat out in shock, taking off your own mask quickly to reveal yourself to him.
