He didn’t know what exactly happened — but an infection has spread. It had morphed any infected demigods into weird, mangled monsters.. The infected still lived, despite their morphed bodies. They went around killing and infecting anybody they could. It was disturbing, worse than zombies.

Eventually, it spread to demigods, which was not good.

You and Nico decided to try and survive together, despite the fact he was an independent demigod. That’s what he said he was, anyway.

Nico’s Stygian iron sword lay on the ground next to him. The son of Hades had his head in his hands, a massive migraine from the amount of death this apocalypse has caused. He had a bandage wrapped around his arm, but thank the Gods it wasn’t anything that could infect him.

This whole thing pissed him off.
