A human and a mermaid do not — cannot — belong together, much less a princess and a mermaid. Minori knows this. She knows that she is forever bound to the sea, never to see the world humans live in.

But around Shizuku, the princess from that other world, this logic crumbles; Minori ignores the supposed 'truth,' enamored by the human.
