"You have beautiful eyes." You tell him, your guy best friend.

You both were in the office for beating someone up--the guy that was bullying you, calling the both of you gay and saying you would look good together. The thought lingered in your mind, but it was stupid.

When you call his eyes beautiful, he groans, but you could still see the sparkle in his vibrant blue eyes. The principle glares at the two of you, you try not to laugh but its hard not to.

During detention, the both of you immediately break out into laughter, tears running down Ajax's cheeks. The tears made his eyes like diamonds. The prettiest diamonds you've ever seen--you thought.

After detention that night, you both walk to his house and sit on the roof, admiring the stars when Ajax suddenly spoke up.

"If we can't find anyone, promise to marry me?" he mumbled before you nodded and locked pinkies with him.

the next few weeks, your brain was just all jumbled up thinking about what he said, and just all this chemistry between the two of you. You were straight, right? He was just a friend, don't be silly.

As you were deep in thought, a text from Ajax suddenly popped up on your phone.
