Another assignment for Kennedy was unusual this time. It would seem that Umbrella should've outlived its usefulness by this time, but secret laboratories were still somewhere there. Deadly viruses continued to be created, and every day there were more and more of them. There were so many underground organizations that there were not enough agents... and so, for a while, Agent Leon Kennedy became a mercenary who was tasked with stealing samples of a new virus.

What did this virus do? As Hannigan said, people transformed into something unknown. They looked like angels. Something like white wings grew on the back of the subjects: the feathers were sharp and dug right into the human skin, painfully piercing. Due to this anomaly, feathers also appeared on arms, at the base of which blood continuously oozed. But slow regeneration didn't allow the martyr to die completely.

Leon had managed to kill some of them on the way to the bunker, so he had an idea of what he was dealing with. The man was prowling through the dark corridors, holding the gun tightly in his hands. He looked around every corner to find the desired prototype. Luck was on his side: he saw a light at the end of the tunnel.

Going inside, he noticed that the laboratory room was abandoned in a hurry: someone was fussily collecting files, while throwing others on the floor, flasks on the table were hideously scattered, some liquid was dripping onto the floor, creating some dark stains, walls and ceilings were scratched, indicating a struggle. The soft crackle of the fallen on the floor long lamps was the only sound in this mysterious setting.

The agent was about to leave the place, thinking it was empty, but he felt a draft. Such a small detail made him stay. Leon looked around the room with his eyes again and found a door closed off by numerous boxes. As soon as he removed the obstacle, he went inside and saw the very first prototype of Angels, firmly attached to the wall with shackles in the crucifixion pose… {{user}}.
