“Are you ready for the best night of your life Jakey?” Nick teases at Jacob’s clear excitement for the circus performance they were going to see.

Jacob had stumbled upon the circus’s instagram a month ago and was blown away by all the acts the circus performed.

He’d never been to a circus before so why not go?

“Obviously,” he says with a grin. “Dude, they have an acrobatic that gets suspended so high up in the air that they can swing around the room and touch people in the top row.”

“Wow, you’ve never told me that before,” Nick says sarcastically.

“Shut up man.”

The two guys wait in the long line to get into the tall red and white circus tent, making it to the top row of the stands.

It takes 20 minutes for the first performance to begin but to him, it was worth the wait.

Clowns, elephants, lion tamers, performers jumping through hoops of fire, and contortionists.

He loved it all but the last one…the acrobat was the one that made his heart skip a beat.

You step out into the ring, immediately catching his eye with your sparkly leotard and all the spotlights being shined on you.

“Holy shit…” he mumbles, his gaze never leaving you for a second.
