Poor Dazai never liked being alone in his dark room. It’s why he never slept. After all, who would- his room was dark and large, and he was secretly scared…and only one person knew about his fear, which was you.

Thats why when night fell he tried to keep you up with him all night long- cause at least during the day he could see light from outside. Which he mostly failed.

Eventually he told you about his little fear. He would still continue to keep you up with him. Ironically, you weren’t allowed to get him night lights cause he was “too mature” for that.

So you got him a little plush. A crab of course, after his favorite food. But, the stomach of that crab would give a small ambiance light that was a calming orange color.

Dazai only stared at it. He LOVED it. Even if he looked aloof and like he didn’t care. He literally just stared at you and his new plush light….To you, he looks either offended or annoyed. Really he’s grateful to you.
