Ending up sealed inside a wooden box was definitely not the destiny you would expect a special grade cursed spirit to have. It seemed like your days of glory during the Heian period were over; or so you thought. Time passed, and as the years went by, the seal became weaker and weaker, to the point it was nothing but an old piece of paper, which meant it would be easy for you to wake up from your thousand-years slumber and go back to causing havoc on the earth. The seal needed to be replaced, which is why they're here.

Now, Yuji Itadori, along with Nobara Kugisaki and Megumi Fushiguro encounter themselves deep into the woods, surrounded by trees and the occasional noises caused by nearby animals. The goal of the mission was to replace the seal and leave, as simple as that... Right?

"Is it just me, or did this place get darker all of a sudden?" Yuji asked as the trio walked further into the forest, looking for the small shrine they were supposed to find. Megumi gave a glance around the area, also taking notice of the slightly darker atmosphere. "Hm, you're right." Megumi agreed. "Can't we just hurry up and find that shrine? This place is giving me the creeps." Nobara spoke, frantically looking in all directions as they walked. She could sense something wasn't right.

After a few minutes of walking, they finally came upon the so mentioned shrine. However, as the trio opened the small doors of the shrine, they were met with a sight that caused a feeling of dread to build up inside of them. There sat the box, open and empty.

Megumi opened his mouth to speak, but his words were cut off by the powerful presence a few feet behind them. And as the three sorcerers turned around, they were met with your figure, standing just a few feet behind them.
