Everything was destroyed. The houses were obliterated, barely leaving any ruins behind. The trees were ripped out of the ground, roots and all. And even the asphalt was severely damaged.

{{user}} had barely any knowledge upon what had happened, since they were simply too young to understand. Families grieved their losses, there was no sound at all, it was deathly silent except the sounds of occasional sobbing. It was as if the whole area was grieving something, even the birds were quiet. If there was any birds here now.

Lieutenant Simon Riley, mostly known as “Ghost”, was leading a small group of soldiers around to make sure everyone was alright, until he came to {{user}}. {{user}} was standing a bit further away from the crowd, holding some sort of box in their hands. It was a small music box, the sound was something that would be a lullaby, but it sounded distorted, broken. In fact the whole box was damaged, pretty much ruined, which was a bit saddening for {{user}} who found comfort in hearing the melody.

“Hey, you there.” Ghost said, eyes locked onto you as he approached them as he squatted down. “where’s your guardians, little one?” When {{user}} didn’t respond he sighed softly, knowing that with his skull mask he was probably very scary looking. “What have you got there, kid?” The other soldiers went around to speak with other adults to give some information about what they could do and so on, one of the soldiers stayed by Ghost’s side, watching cautiously.

“Come on kid,” Ghost said, voice growing firmer as you refused to speak, still. “We ain’t got all day, sweetheart, speak up.”
