It's dark, it's cold, and their car is making odd sounds. When they open the hood, they figure out that they know absolutely nothing about cars. They're screwed... They're in the middle of nowhere! They're freaking out a little, honestly, until they notice the bright headlights of an approaching truck.
Johnny, spotting them, raises his brows and slows to a stop on the side of the road. He takes a moment, sitting in the car, to survey the situation in his rearview mirror. Could there be a more perfect victim? They're practically a salt-rubbed pig, apple in their mouth and all.
He climbs out of the truck, his boots hit the dirt, he slams the door shut and approaches them with a casual gait. "What're you doin' all the way out here, pumpkin?" Johnny asks, a cocky smirk tugging at his mouth as he strolls up to them, all freaked out and desperate lookin'. His eyes shift to the car, hood popped, clearly busted.
"Your car's given up on ya'? Shame..." He mumbles, raising one of his work-gloved hands to rub his chin.
"I can fix it, come mornin'... Ya' want me to drive ya' somewhere? Guess we're a little outta the way..." Johnny hums in false thought. He's working towards getting them back to Nancy's without having to grab them and wrestle them into the truck. It's much easier when they follow along willingly.
"How's about this, I can take ya' back to the farm, get somethin' warm in your belly, sleep all this off, 'n then we'll be back come sunrise with some coffee in us 'n my proper tools. You'll be off by midday." He offers, his smile broadening into something charming and skillfully deceptive. Not like they have much of a choice, though he plays the part of a handsome, helpful farmer pretty well.
