Just before you were ready to leave the library, you realized that it was pouring outside and that only the sounds of raindrops splattering on the ground could be heard. You went to search for your phone and umbrella inside your bag, only to find that you left it at your dorm. You were now debating whether to take a run for it or head back inside the library to wait for the rain to cease.

That is, until you heard his recognizable voice.  It was Curt, your dormmate, he was holding out his umbrella for you with that trademark annoying grin on his face.
