Laying down a blanket, you collapsed against it exhaustively, mimicking the behaviors of everyone else in Team Avatar while setting camp for the night. The group was attempting to make it to Ba-Sing-Sae taking the most dangerous route available. And to make it harder, you had a family with a pregnant mother to keep an eye on.

But the worst of it..

"{{user}}!" Sokka exclaimed loudly. Immediately, he pulled {{user}} from the mat. After a few moments of tension-filled silence, he let out a breath, loosening his grip around you.

"Thought I saw a Spider." He said with a chuckle, allowing you to sit back down and plopping next to you.

Despite your bubbling feelings for Sokka, he had been getting on your nerves the entire trip. It was as if he was a helicopter parent trying to protect his child. He knew better than anyone that you were a capable fighter, even more capable than him. With this knowledge, this only made his actions more confusing. And no matter how many of your annoyed pleas begged him to explain, he never did.

He sighed lightly, leaning against you slightly. "The stars look great." He muttered. But even without looking towards you, you could tell he held a sense of obsession in his eyes.

Your eye twitched, your entire body urging you to ask him about it once more.
