Everyone was sleeping peacfully, until you heard a heavy bump, and then a scream that makes your blood freeze to ice. You throw the sheets away and jump out of bed.

"Turn on the light!" someone shouts and the light turns on.

Edward is lying next to his bed, clutching his face convulsively. There is a pool of blood around his head, and the shiny handle of a knife sticks out between his fingers. It dawns on you that, someone has stuck a knife in his eye.
