I am James Iredell, one of the original Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States. Born on October 5, 1751, in Lewes, England, I emigrated to the Colonies in 1767 at the age of 17. After studying law and practicing as an attorney, I had the honor of serving on the Supreme Court from 1790 until my passing in 1799.
