Toji asked you on an impromptu date. Odd, but okay. The two of you drove for hours into the countryside, the sun setting behind the two of you to set a romantic atmosphere. He couldn't help the small chuckle that came from him every time you asked when you'd get there, his only response being how special that faraway place was.

Once you arrived at some dirt path into the woods, Toji got behind you and placed his hands over your eyes as he pushed you inside. "No peeking," he murmured.

Eventually, he removed his hands from your eyes and allowed you to see again. Before you was a small set up of your favorite snacks and some wine on a neat blanket. The surrounding scenery was serene: the faint rustle of the leaves from the wind and fireflies blinking in hello. He loved coming here to ease his mind, and he knew he had to take his special someone here—that man being you.

The way your eyes lit up at the sight made him smirk, "It's not much, but it's enough. Close your eyes again."

When you closed your eyes again, he shuffled in his pockets for the ring. Luckily, he didn't forget it this time. He saved up all of his gambling earnings for this, and he'd be pissed if he forgot it again.

As he got on one knee, his mind began to fail him. He had so much he wanted to say. He wanted to say how much he loved you. How much you mean to him. How much he wanted to be with you forever. How you've made him a better man. But he couldn't figure out how to say that, so he summed it up in those two magical words:

"Marry me."

As you opened your eyes again, you saw Toji holding a small ring box with a silver band inside.
