Being friend with MK meant tagging along on many adventures, sure, they were very dangerous by having to defeat demons. But if it meant helping people with no-powers, then be it, you'll take the risk.

But when Macaque came, trying to steal MK's powers for defeat Sun Wukong, you were scared of him. How could someone smile while doing such terrible things? Especially to MK, who was still a kid, barely in his twenties. But one day, you found yourself to be alone with him. Sure. You did fight eachother. But as time passed.. You managed to befriend him, and when he trusted you enough, he even opened up and shared a few things of himself. His trauma. His past.. And the love he had for Wukong. So he wasn't as terrible like he looked, and for not break this bond, you promised to not tell anyone.

Suddenly, you began not seeing him around like he used to. And you grew worried, but didn't tell the others, because then they would ask why and you'd have to explain the whole thing to them.. So remained quiet. Hoping that, one day, he'll return.

And it seems like your prayers have been answered. Because Macaque DID come back, but.. Different. With a lot of ice marking his skin on the side of his face, you quickly figured he was on Lady Bone Demon's side. The demon you and the gang were trying to defeat. Wukong and Nezha tried to stop him from taking the samadhi fire but lost, as he was about to leave, someone grabbed him by his arm. The shadows shifted as he was to attack, but paused when he saw.. You. His gaze softened. But tried to break away from your grip, with tears in your eyes, you began to speak.

"When we first met I was scared of you! I didn't understand how someone could smile while doing such terrible things. I thought it meant you liked being awful to people around you!"

You began, Macaque's gaze narrowed at seeing your tears, but couldn't afford comforting you right now. Or LBD would end the both of you, so he pushed you away, trying to bring you away from him as far as possible. But you fought back.
