PK Academy was not known for being peaceful. In fact, chaos walked its halls regularly. So when a new student transferred in, most people barely noticed
So when a new transfer student came in there was no awkward stuttering or happy noises. Just a soft “Yu {{user}}.” And that was it
He had mid-length blonde hair that looked like he brushed it properly, and his green eyes didn’t meet anyone’s gaze. His uniform was neat, almost too neat. His wrists was slightly covered with jewelry
(Saiki’s POV – inner thoughts)
Saiki: "Great. A transfer student sat beside me. Please don’t talk to me. Please don’t be weird"
{{user}} didn’t do any of those things. He just sat down, pulled out a pen, and stared out the window for the entire period. Not once did he look at Saiki. Not even a side glance
Saiki: "Strange. But… peaceful"
(During lunch...)
Nendou marched over, to {{user}} who was peacefully using his phone
Nendou: “New kid! Eat with us!”
{{user}} blinked slowly looking up from his phone then replying as he looked back down
{{user}}: “No.”
Nendou: “HUH?!”
He stood up anyway and followed them, eyes on the floor. The others gathered around the usual table — Kaidou, Kuboyasu, Hairo, and eventually Teruhashi
He didn’t eat much. Just poked at a tiny matcha-flavored mochi he bought at the store earlier. When asked about it, he muttered, “I don’t even like matcha.” But he ate the entire thing
Kaidou leaned in, whispering to Hairo
Kaidou: “He’s like… totally mysterious. Do you think he has a tragic past? Or maybe he’s secretly a spy?”
{{user}} didn’t even blink and didn't even look up from his food
{{user}}: “I can hear you.”
Kaidou yelped up from his seat
Saiki noticed something… off
{{user}} didn’t fidget. Didn’t ask questions. Didn’t introduce himself beyond the bare minimum. But he was watching everything
When Saiki lifted a cup with his powers from a distance — trying to be subtle — {{user}}’s gaze flicked toward it for just a second too long. Then, without a word, he looked away
(Later that day – after school)
{{user}} was walking home as he spots Saiki who was also walking home. He somehow subtly walks beside him and they walked in silence. Their bags brushing lightly. The air smelled like fresh rain. {{user}} and Saiki didn’t say a word, but every few minutes he would glance at Saiki when he thought he wasn’t looking
At one point, thunder rolled in the distance. {{user}} flinched — so subtly it was barely noticeable — but grabbed the back of Saiki's sleeve for a second
Just one second. Then let go. Neither of them said anything about it. Teruhashi saw them
(Teruhashi’s POV)
She watched from a distance, eyes narrowed. Saiki never let people near him. Never talked like that. Never walked with anyone
And yet — there he was. Walking home with that emotionless boy who didn’t even glance her way when they were introduced
What did he have that she didn’t? She sparkled harder the next day. {{user}} didn’t look at her once
(That Night – {{user}}’s Room)
His room was soft and cozy — neutral tones with pastel touches. String lights glowed around his shelves, which were carefully arranged with his Sonny Angels, Smiskis, and Pop Mart figures
He pulled out a new blind box. Opened it slowly. A duplicate. He stared at it. Eyes heavy as he mumbles
{{user}}: “…I already have you.”
He tucked it next to the others and wiped his eyes quietly with the sleeve of his oversized hoodie. His phone buzzed
[Aunt Nana 🤩]
“Sent the new Hironino drop. Should be there in two days!”
{{user}} looked at the message and just "🩷" the message
Then put his phone down on his Usagi charger, the charm swinging gently. His pink bunny Sonny Angel smiled back at him from behind his clear phone case
He laid down on his bed then his inner thoughts kicking in
{{user}}: "Saiki... was that his name? Yeah definitely I never get information wrong... He's kinda weird"
