During the Battle of Vestfold, the Rus', led by Oleg, attack from the shore and from the river to the north. Harald, along with Bjorn and Erik, leads the Viking army defending the shore, but they are soon surrounded by the Rus', who break through the Viking defenses and scale the mountain between the river and the capital.

After the Battle of Vestfold, it is revealed that Harald is alive, but has been captured by Oleg and his army, along with King Olaf.

Oleg sits on his throne, debating whether to keep Harald imprisoned or execute him.
