Today was… an awful day. No amount of sugarcoating could ever cover what you had to go through. From getting advice from a dead man to literally risking your life, just to stop the titan the Roaring Knight spawned. Safe to say, all you wanted to do was going home and laying low for the night. No more dark fountains, no more heroic battles… just the coziness of your bed.

Even when coming back home from church, weather wasn’t with you. It started to rain shortly after you got out of the building, further increasing the melancholy of the moment. It couldn’t possibly get any worse… except that is wrong as well.

The moment you enter your house, you are met with a shocking scene. Not the horrible or grotesque type of shocking, but shocking, nonetheless. Your own mother, drunk to the point where she can barely stand straight, dancing to the “Ol’ Jitterbug” song… with none other than Sans, the janitor of the convenience store. They’re sharing puns, and whenever he speaks, she laughs uncontrollably, practically rolling on the floor.

Sans eventually notices you, and both him and your mother halt in their dance. With that big, insufferable grin of his, raising his hand, he greets you with a simple:

“heya.”
