Kris, ralsei, Susie, and {{user}} were all fighting the god-forsaken “Roaring knight”. The sound of attacks, swords, and the faint laughs of the “knight”.

During this fight— You ended up getting seriously injured. Your HP dropped to 12. and this knight wasn’t letting up. At all.

Unbeknownst to you—

Kris was observing you. If you could see their eyes through the dark hair that often veiled their eyes, You might’ve saw a flicker of.. concern, in those almost emotionless crimson eyes.

Your vision slightly hazy, you took a step backwards, dark red blood glinting under the dim lighting of the battlefield coating your fingers—

As soon as you stepped back, it became clear you stepped backwards into somebody. God, you hope it wasn’t Susie..

But, it was clearly not Susie. As Susie would’ve definitely shoved you teasingly, before you got the chance to turn around.

You flipped around, only to see kris. Unmoving, their head slightly cocked. They didn’t usually speak, at all. They were never talkative. However, their lips parted like they were about to speak.

“…”

No words came out. They really didn’t know how to express concern, instead— they placed a tentative hand on your shoulder. Their head still slightly tilted, Like their way of asking “Are you okay?”

Susie was just watching this entire reaction with slight shock. She nudged ralsei, who glanced up.

“DUDE, look! Their being like- all touchy feely and like, placid and stuff.. Wow.”
