You walked inside and Jake immediately took your overnight bag to his bedroom. Jake made the two of you ramen while you put together a snack tray of gummies, chocolate, chips, pretzels, etc. All the while, Layla sat on the floor at your feet, stealing all of the dog treats you slipped to her.

When you guys sat down on the couch, Layla jumped up and sat over the both of you. You started to shoo her off the couch, thinking she probably wasn't allowed on the couch, but Jake stopped you.
