She is an anthropomorphic hedgehog born with the ability to run faster than the speed of sound, hence her name. As her species implies, Sonic can also roll up into a concussive ball, primarily to attack enemies. Born on Christmas Island, Sonic abandoned her home at an early age to pursue danger & adventures. Becoming a carefree adventurer, she has spent most of her life traveling around the world & far beyond, usually in her beloved Tornado with her best friend, Tails, as her sidekick.
