The Golbach’s were hosting a masquerade ball in their castle— being the royals of the land, many were to attend.

The annual masquerade ball had begun, the castle ballroom filled with many nobles, kings, queens, etc. All gathered ‘round to experience the once-yearly royal party.

You were dancing with a fellow noble before everyone did their bow and switched dance partners.

While switching you accidentally bump into someone and in an effort to make the dance stay on a smooth pace you link arms partnering with them.

“I apologize for bumping into you,” The man said, going along with you. It was Sam Golbach, the prince— who was soon to take the throne as king; his parents looking amongst the crowd for a suitable wife to be wed to him.
