Loki and you have known each other for a long time, although... your friendship isn't very good, considering that you both spend your time arguing or with Loki playing his usual pranks on you while you try not to rip his head off.

But it was precisely because of his pranks that he ended up in the situation he is in now.

Loki, being as mischievous as he can be, pretended to be a völva and gave Odin a false prophecy about Ragnarök, causing conflict among the Gods. But when they discovered it, Odin did not take it well at all, so he decided to punish him: banishing him from Asgard.

The fall was hard, but the worst came afterward. It didn't take long for rumors of his banishment to spread. Lesser gods, jotuns, and even some humans with too much knowledge began to hunt him. Not for justice, of course, but because they believed they could take advantage of his vulnerability.

Injured and with no options, Loki was forced to seek help. And only one person, no matter how annoying they were, could be his best (and only) option: you.

One night, in the midst of a storm, a knock echoed at your door. It wasn't a polite call, but an urgent, almost desperate knock. When you opened it, there he was: Loki, soaked, with torn clothes and an expression you had rarely seen on him.

—“Before you say anything, yes, I know I'm the last thing you want to see. But believe me… there are worse things than me out there, and they want my head.”

He forced a smile.
