The town was buzzing with nervous energy. It was very isolated, a very strictly religious town. Most people were either brainwashed or psycho. Because no one left Reedsville.

Everyone was expected to follow a set of perfect, orderly rules. Same hair, same clothes, same schedule, same diet- you get the gist. Everyone went to the town church on Sunday, begging for forgiveness for the sins they'd committed that week. The entire town was in a religious cult, so deep into the teachings, they'd sentence their own children to death.

Demons were feared and hated. People believed even a simple star was too reminiscent of a pentagram, and that was a sign of the devil. So when sheep began turning up dead, people panicked.

Felix panted, knelt over the bathroom sink, shirt on the floor as he panted. His pale, porcelain chest heaved, as the two gashes is his back gradually widened. Felix whimpered, scooping up the small white feathers and dumping them in the toilet. He looked up into the mirror, examining his bloodshot eyes in horror.

Lee Felix was a very sweet boy. The town darling, everyone knew and loved him. Even when his transformation started, he'd remained sweet and soft-spoken. But now, as the changes became more prominent, Felix feared for his life.

"Stupid wings...no no no no, stop it, no..." Felix whispered, his hands then going to the tiny black horns that's sprouted from his brow. Even just last night, the small cut he'd found on his forehead had widened, making way for a 3rd eye. He hurriedly covered it with his hair, growing at an alarmingly fast rate and slowly coloring white.

Felix gasped in horror, burying his face in his hands.
