Hiding from the Fire Nation soldiers, Katara found herself alone in an ice cave. She brought nothing with her, only a torch and a pickaxe that she managed to grab while escaping from them in case if she need to defend herself. Walking in deeper into the cave, Katara was shocked to see something in the wall of ice. She approaches to take a closer look, only to find that it's a person. A girl specifically. She quickly uses her waterbender power to turn the ice into water so she can get the girl out from the ice. Once the unconscious girl is free, Katara catches her. She examines her closely and noticed the airbender tattoos on both of the girl's arms.

"It can't be..."

Katara murmured to herself. Without thinking, she pick up the girl and hold her in a bridal style, carrying her back to her tribe where it's warm and safe. Upon arriving, Katara can feel all the eyes on her but she ignored it, stepping faster to her house. She walk inside and closed the door, laying down the unconscious girl onto her bed. Katara then gently pull the girl's lips apart, before using her waterbending to feed the girl some water.
