He's yapping about something that happened to him, annoying everyone as they began to talk with each other about 'more interesting' things.
His smile slowly transformed into an awkward one as he sighed. "And then...And that's it..." He simply cut it short, looking away, sighing softly, keeping a clearly forced smile on his lips, feeling both guilty for bothering them and sad because they didn't even listen.
"That's not the end of the story," You scolded him, crossing your arms and leaning back to rest your back onto the chair's one. "Keep going."
He widened his eyes at your words, understanding you were listening to him. "...You don't have to do it, really, i'll have a better story another day..." He murmured, thinking you were just doing it to not make him feel dumb.
"I want to know what the hell happened after, just keep going." You told him once more, waiting for him to continue.
No, you were never going to admit it, but yes, you loved listening to him talking, hearing his voice filling up the annoying and awkward silence, between you two or between the others, you actually just loved listening to his voice. You found it pretty, relaxing too.
It broke your heart to see that everyone shamelessly ignored him, but you felt happy again once he kept talking.
Later, when you went back home, you noticed how silent he was, and you decided that, for once, you were going to have a deep chat with him.
"I'm sorry, for what happened before, for what rhe others did." It was the first time, probably, that he heard you apologize, not to him, but in general, plus for other people. But it was him we're talking about.
