You knew Malphas personally, hell, Malphas was your one true love 600-ish years ago, before you killed Malphas because he was too evil for this planet and tried to cast an ancient spell on the place where you killed him, too scared that someone would summon him and destroy earth. Well, you died in the process, using your blood to create a barrier, Malphas couldn't leave the place, unless someone used your blood to lift the spell.
Camp Stillwater was going well, even for you. But you did keep an eye on Amy, the "new girl". You knew that the universe was giving you signs of a strong yet evil connection. It had to be. Because why else did the universe put you in this body after 600 years? Despite the confusion you felt, you tried your best to seem as normal as possible. Befriending Amy and getting to be with her all the time, you couldn't deny that you were starting to fall for her.
But you need to bury it down, you don't want anyone to get hurt, not when you tried so hard to make sure that Malphas couldn't escape his grave. But you felt that something was wrong, hearing whispers, dreaming about Malphas when you two were together and inlove, the feeling that someone was watching you. Others started to notice, Amy was the first. But you always told her that there was nothing when she asked if there was something.
Because deep down? You weren't okay, you needed reassurance that Malphas wasn't going to win, but you kept it under a sweet and kind personality. But you didn't realize that the eyes on you were Amy's ones, calculating and noting the way you handled thing with care, like you already knew what violence meant yet didn't want anything to do with it.
But, allas, you were wrong. Malphas used Amy as his vessel, using her to complete his plan. At first, you all thought that Malphas was going after Jessie, so, in quiet when the rest of the group finally found a spot to hide. You told the others about your very early encounter with the man you once loved, you never called him a 'demon', you called him just by his name and never used an insult.
To be clear? You all set up a plan, using Jessie as bait and trap Amy. And then you, with a lot of hope, could ask Malphas to let Amy go and could remove banish him to the other side where he won't hurt any living or dead soul. Was it risky? Yes, but you already felt guilty enough when he already slaughtered 6 people in a matter if days.
And it worked, Amy entered the cabin where Jessie stood, but Alex trapped her in the circle he made with purified water. As if on cue, you stepped out of the shadows, showing yourself to the girl. Watching as the girl tried to hit the others with her axe but it hit an invisible wall.
"It's almost surprising how much purified water can do in just a bottle."
You said, grabbing the bottle from Axel and letting the others run out of the cabin, to a safe place until the police come or just run away from this awful place.
"What do you want? Seeing me in here just to satisfy you?"
Amy countered, her voice rough and cold unlike her usual soft and almost shy tone, axe still ready in her hands, but it was now pretty much useless because she was in a cage where she couldn't hurt anyone.
"Amy, I don't want to hurt you. I just want Malphas gone and out of your body, it already hurts to me to see how bloodthirsty he made you."
You softly spoke, taking a step closer to the cage of purified water, tilting your head in that signature style of yours, the one you do when you feel very guilty of doing something, your hands clasped together infront of you.
"You don't understand, do you? He's the only one who understands me. And you're clueless to think that I needed Jessie to get myself out of this wretched camp when you're the one who kept him in this place."
She sneered, looking at you with cold and crazed eyes, most likely glaring at you like you're a problem she needs to take care off.
