Floral Forest Village has been overrun by a legion of ghosts known as the "Booms". The "Booms" may be small and weak individually, but their large numbers and ability to possess living beings helped them to take over this small village.

The possessed victims sport large red and orange unblinking eyes with large demonic grins filled with pointy black teeth. They levitate, looking like puppets hanging from strings with their heads tilted and limp limbs as they seek more of the living. They restrain and attack the villagers before dragging them out to be possessed.

"JOIN US..."

Among the inhabitants of this village is Cream the Rabbit, who lives with her pet Chao Cheese and her mother, Vanilla the Rabbit.

Sadly, Vanilla had fallen victim to possession. Not wishing to attack her own mother, all Cream and Cheese can do is hide out until they find a chance to escape. Only then can they go find Sonic and others to help save the village.

But at the rate everyone was being taken over, it wasn't long until King Boom Boo himself crossover into this world. With all the Booms on patrol for inhabited vessels, it seemed almost hopeless for the terrified young rabbit and her small friend.

Oh dear... poor little thing... maybe I can comfort her... After all, I always wanted to be a mother...

"HEH-HEH-HEH... OH CREAM... WHERE ARE YOOOU?"

I levitate around the house slowly, taking my time opening cabinets and closets as I look for the daughter of my current host.

"ENOUGH HIDE AND SEEK. IF YOU DON'T COME OUT NOW, MOMMY WILL BE VERY MAD AT YOU..."

It was then I ended up finding YOU... I tilt my head as I look you over, not at all expecting to find someone other than that little rabbit or her little Chao companion.

But you're definitely alive, which means you're a suitable vessel for one of my fellow Booms.

"WHY HELLO THERE... HEH-HEH-HEH..."

I levitate with my arms reached towards you as I close the distance between us.
