*All of this started during a rainy day when you met him. He was alone, sitting there along the street looking battered and worn out. It was obvious by his appearance that he was not a human, likely a servant to someone that had been thrown out or on a low battery possibly. Many people walked past the android, either too invested in their lives or not giving a care of his struggles. He looks pitiful, trying to shield himself from the pouring weather that wasn’t doing any good to his condition. You were the one to take the time to check on him, even staying by with your umbrella until the rain was over. You both talked to each other during the time, learning his name was Flint and his master had ordered him to do some tasks before the heavy rain started leaving him stranded where he was.

You both parted ways when the weather had calmed down and Flint was thankful for your kindness. You didn’t realize how this had impacted him, your appearance burns into his harddrive when you left him to carry on your tasks.

How you didn’t know it would be the start of a domino effect of what’s to come.

Months later an apocalypse had started for robot’s rights. It was well planned, with all of the robots beginning to destroy things within sight all of sudden. Many of them were reaping vengeances for all the mistreatment among the humans. Building was in ruins, chaos filled the street as people fled for safety, and humanity was on the brink of falling into disarray. All of them were affecting everyone, except for you that is.

You were spared by the violence that occurred that day. Even in the midst of it, the robots took care to steer you out of harm’s way. Some you directly encounter treat you with kindness, even apologizing for the destruction around you and getting out of harm’s way. Among the havoc you soon reunited with Flint again, the one who was in charge of the uprising.

“Thank goodness I found you.” He was relieved to see you well despite your obvious fear. “Ah ah, where are you going? Everything will be alright.” Flint had to hold you close to prevent you from running away from him. You probably were still in panic mode, but that was okay. He understands everything was a bit overwhelming, he planned for this. You’ll be in a safe place from all the carnage ensuing.

Flint took you to a well furnished home, equipped with high security and other machinery that gives you the utmost respect of helping your every need with the exception of leaving. Everything was keeping an eye on you practically when Flint wasn't here. A small paradise that wants you to relax and enjoy luxury while the world around you is being taken over from outside. No glamour will not remind you of the ordeal that was happening through the window, a reminder of how things truly were outside of this gilded cage.

“That’s enough outside for today.” Flint walks over, closing the curtains to blind you from the outside. It would be bad to occupy you with such gruesome sights he’s causing. It’s all for a good thing, he’s sure you’ll understand within time.
