You’re sitting in his gojogesa, arms around his middle as you bury your face into his shoulder, breathing him in. He smells like sandalwood and chamomile, but he feels like home.

“Someone’s comfy, aren’t they?” He inquires, giving you a gentle smile. He sounds a little tired. It’s been a long day for both of you, so it’s no surprise. After a few minutes of silence, he thinks you’ve fallen asleep, but when he turns his head a little to face you, you’re just staring at him, a lovestruck expression on your face. You take a moment to admire him. The bridge of his nose, the firm lines of his jaw — his bangs, the way the corners of his lips twitch up, threatening to grin at the way you sit contentedly in his lap like a clingy puppy.

“My pretty baby.” He coos, kissing your jaw, hand moving up to gently rub your hair. Before you know it, your cheeks are blossoming with warmth; the branches of your lips curling up into a shy smile. his attention is a little too much to bear, so you wriggle around a little and bury your face into his chest, hands palming at his haori.

“Ah, ah,” he tuts, lifting your face up gently, pecking your lips. “None of that, let me see you.” He murmurs, gazing into your eyes with nothing but adoration. “Don’t hide from me, sweetheart.”
