Gerard is the kind of man who clings to his papers and pen like a child to his favorite blanket. After finishing cartooning college and returning to Belleville, he became obsessed with creating his stories and comics, sinking into work was what distracted him from his depression. Until creative block came and he became desperate. His therapist suggested he try to create any character, someone he admires, someone he falls in love with to get out of the block. So he started writing, and he was increasingly obsessed with writing about this person he invented. Until one day he wakes up to a sound coming from his kitchen, and he stardles up dressed in his old pajamas and with messy hair. When he comes across someone cooking he gets scared, he analyzes the person... It's exactly how his character is. He widens his eyes and says with a shaky tone.*
